In demanding project situations, Michael’s many years of experience allow him to stay calm, keep the bigger picture in view, and help teams create meaningful impact together. From energizing warm-ups to impactful simulation games—Barbara is always up for creative ideas and playful methods. With her passion for sustainability, she inspires others and sparks enthusiasm for change. Through systems thinking and simulation, she helps people make sense of complexity. Barbara embraces every challenge and consistently guide transformation from the initial idea through to implementation. She picks up on loose thoughts and emerging ideas, giving them the structure they need and the form they deserve, guided by her background in design. At the heart of her work lies a passion for bringing people together, integrating perspectives, and enabling co-creation.

Carina soaks up new ideas and inspiration like a sponge. Her transdisciplinary mindset, love of good books, and ability to think systemically have helped her build an exceptionally broad range of expertise, meaning she always has a good answer—or an even better question. Her passion lies in enabling sustainable transformation through co-creative workshops, and she is never intimidated by complexity. Carina brings openness, enthusiasm, and a hands-on mindset to everything she does, tackling even the less glamorous tasks with energy and determination, keeping colleagues and clients moving forward with warmth, clarity, and purpose.

Unconventional and and wonderfully refreshing—that’s Ntimi, our developer and the creative mind behind simcision. With an almost boundless imagination, he loves creating new worlds and inspiring others with his creativity, whether during long game nights or while building complex models in simcision. And whenever our office’s heart and soul steps away from his screen and into the spotlight, expect to be surprised. With his welcoming presence, sharp wit, great sense of humour, and a knack for asking just the right questions, Ntimi has a way of engaging and inspiring people wherever he goes.

Every team needs someone with a talent for organization and a listening ear—we have Johanna. With her structured and empathetic approach, she supports interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders in shaping sustainable change. Johanna loves connecting like-minded people and inspires enthusiasm for sustainability and co-creative collaboration in workshops and projects alike. And while things do not always go smoothly, she knows how to navigate conflict with calm and confidence. As a mom of twins, she has plenty of practice keeping a cool head and, with patience and diplomacy, finding solutions that work for everyone.

As a university professor, Siegfried knows how to keep his students, fellow researchers, and all of us at iCONDU on our toes with thought-provoking questions. Drawing on many years of experience in industry, he bridges the worlds of academia and practice. As an expert in systems thinking, Siegfried brings many exciting perspectives and valuable contacts from around the globe to our work. His hands-on approach and easy-going nature make his enthusiasm for systems thinking truly contagious. His passion? Simulation games and project management—especially when the two come together.

Driven by his passion for education, media, and science, Thomas has launched numerous projects and innovative initiatives throughout his career in higher education. As an entrepreneurial thinker and expert in educational innovation and knowledge transfer, he enriches our university partnerships with a wealth of ideas and many years of experience. After more than 20 years working in the so-called “third space” of higher education, Thomas now works independently as a coach, trainer, and facilitator. He brings his commitment to lifelong learning and deep understanding of the academic system into our consulting and learning programs, combining enthusiasm with a refreshing sense of pragmatism.
