Internal Development Based on the IDGs at iCONDU
The world is in motion—and so are we. Rooted in our values, we are constantly learning.
Complexity is not a problem—it enables diversity, long-term purpose, new possibilities, and creativity.
Connection creates impact—not just technically and cognitively, but above all, humanly and tangibly.
Understanding creates trust, and trust gives rise to what no one can achieve alone.
Everything we do makes a difference—when we change, the world around us changes.
Our team
We combine experience with openness and creativity, technical expertise with a deep understanding of systems and a spirit of curiosity—as well as efficient structures with a human touch and genuine care.
Michael Holzner
Socrates, Greek philosopherIf you want to change the world, you must first change yourself.
Are children actually better at systems thinking? Michael, at least, is fascinated by his granddaughters’ curiosity, quick grasp of concepts, and joy in experimenting. But our innovation driver is every bit as good himself and is always open to new approaches, unconventional ways of thinking, and co-creative processes. In challenging project situations, our senior partner and founder of iCONDU—thanks to his years of experience—remains calm at all times and always keeps the big picture in mind to achieve impact together. His unbeatable secret recipe? Learning through simulation.
Barbara Holzner
Jane GoodallWhat you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
From varied warm-ups to effective simulation exercises—Barbara is always up for creative ideas and playful methods. With her passion for sustainability, she inspires others and sparks their enthusiasm. This is how she manages to make complexity understandable through systems thinking and simulations. Barbara takes on every challenge and consistently guides transformations from the initial idea through to implementation. She picks up on loose thoughts and ideas and gives them structure that’s impressive thanks to her design background. Her driving force? Bring people together – integrate perspectives – enable co-creation.
Carina Heyer
Victor HugoNothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.
Carina soaks up new ideas and inspiration like a sponge. Thanks to her transdisciplinary approach, her passion for good books, and her ability to think systemically, she has built up an incredibly broad range of expertise, which means she always has a good answer—or question—at the ready. Her passion lies in driving sustainable transformation through co-creative workshops, and she doesn’t shy away from complex challenges. With her open, friendly, and hands-on approach, Carina tackles even unpopular tasks with enthusiasm and guides colleagues and clients forward in a warm yet firm manner.
Ntimi Schnütgen
Uncle IrohIt is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale.
Unconventional and heartwarming – that’s Ntimi, our developer and the creative mind behind simcision. With his virtually boundless imagination, he loves creating new worlds and inspiring others with his creativity – whether during long game nights or while building complex models at simcision. And when our office’s heart and soul steps away from his screen and takes the stage, get ready for a treat: with his warm and welcoming presence, a healthy dose of wit and humor, and plenty of thought-provoking questions up his sleeve, he never fails to surprise and delight.
Johanna Rasch
Nelson MandelaIt always seems impossible until it is done.
Every team needs someone with organizational skills and a willingness to listen to everyone—and we have Johanna! With her structured and empathetic approach, she supports interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders in sustainable development. She loves connecting like-minded people and inspires others in workshops and projects focused on sustainability and co-creative collaboration. It’s not unusual for things to get heated at times. But as a mom of twins, she knows how to handle conflicts, always keeps a cool head, and, with plenty of patience, consistently finds a diplomatic solution that works for everyone.
Siegfried Zürn
A culture of excellence starts with accepting the complexity of the world. This acceptance inspires honest scientific research and the questioning of any simplistic solutions.
As a university professor, Siegfried knows how to make his students, fellow researchers, and even us break a sweat with his critical questions. With his many years of professional experience in the corporate world, he bridges the gap between academia and business. As a systems thinking expert, he brings many exciting perspectives and contacts from around the world to our work. Thanks to his hands-on approach and easygoing manner, Siegfried’s enthusiasm for systems thinking is contagious. His passions are simulation games and project management—especially when combined!
Tom Sporer
Joseph CampbellThe big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty “yes” to your adventure.
Driven by his passion and enthusiasm for education, media, and science, Thomas has consistently launched new projects and innovative initiatives at universities. As an entrepreneur and expert in educational innovation and knowledge transfer, he enriches the team in our university partnerships with a wealth of ideas and years of experience. After more than 20 years in the so-called “third space” of universities, he now works independently as a coach, trainer, and facilitator. He brings his love for lifelong learning and his understanding of the academic system to our consulting and professional development offerings with a refreshing blend of enthusiasm and pragmatism.
Family-run and dedicated to the common good
It wasn’t planned this way, yet it came about naturally: Since 2021, Michael and Barbara have been running iCONDU together, combining their passion for complex challenges with their love for the beauty in the world. In keeping with the Bavarian Constitution, we have dedicated our business to the common good.
Rooted in Ingolstadt. At home in the world.
Since our founding in 2010, iCONDU has been based in Ingolstadt, in the heart of Bavaria. We love our region and are committed to building strong local networks and genuine communities.
Through our initiatives, projects, and tools, however, we are active throughout Germany—and beyond—and collaborate with international partners.
Why “iCONDU”?
Why “iCONDU”?
The name iCONDU stands for “Designing intelligent solutions together”—or, in short: “Me with you.” It is derived from the Latin word “conducere,” meaning “to bring together / to connect.”
