Systems Thinking App

Map systems to simulatable models, define interactions, and develop complex simulation games.

Discover simcision

System based Stakeholder Alignment

Use System Maps in simcision to agree on genuine shared goals and to plan not just in implementation plans, but in goal systems.

Comparable scenario simulations

Test different strategies using built-in scenario planning tools, compare action plans, and measure the impact of emerging risks.

Business Games and Training Simulations

Use your models to develop interactive simulations that can be used to practice handling various situations.

Systems Thinking for Complexity

Our world is complex. Resources are scarce, supply chains are globally interconnected, and simple decisions can have long-term consequences. And we humans generally struggle to grasp long-term complexity.

This is where systems awareness comes in. We need to understand the interconnections in the areas where we operate—so that we don’t act blindly, but can make informed decisions.

simcision is our tool for applying systems thinking in practice. We model systems, test strategies, and facilitate systemic learning through experience.

Of course, the way you use simcision may be completely different from how we use it. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss what’s possible.

Why simcision?

We use simcision for many of our projects and are constantly refining the software. However, some fundamental principles remain constant and shape the direction of our software.

Try out simcision

Just Get Started

No lengthy setup required: simcision runs in the browser and is therefore compatible with all modern operating systems. All models are stored in the cloud and can therefore be accessed from any computer.

As simple as possible

And as complex as necessary. Create simple system maps or build complex stock-and-flow simulations—you decide how detailed, accurate, or elaborate your model will be.

Interaction at the Core

simcision is built on interactive models: static system maps are a good first step, but a system model becomes truly exciting when we can observe how it changes under stress.

Trainings from the Source

To get the most out of simcision, a solid foundation in system modeling is helpful. We’re happy to help you get started quickly.

Systems Thinking Crash Course

A 6-hour introduction to systems thinking—from basic concepts and typical archetypes to your first simulation—we’ll give you a comprehensive overview of all the relevant fundamentals you need to build effective models and ask system-level questions.

Customized Model Coaching

You bring your model; we bring the experience. Book us by the hour to get feedback on your model, discuss approaches, work together to refine processes, and get support in implementing specific procedures.

Starting at €150 per hour, online.

Learning by doing: Kick-Off-Workshop

Do you have an idea of what you want to include in your model, but no idea yet how to implement and structure it? Build the first version of your system together with us and learn how to use simcision. It’s both a brainstorming session and a crash course on the tool – all in one.

Just Give It a Try
Simulations allow us to experiment safely and expand our thinking—without any real-world consequences.

Experience “in Fast Forward”
Simulations also provide immediate feedback on long-term effects and allow users to gain experience in fast forward.

Every situation is different.
Simulations can be run as often as needed, using different assumptions and conditions.

Learning Through Simulation

Through digital simulation, we can learn through practical scenarios and gain experience in an interactive way.
