Sustainability as a way of thinking and working

What does sustainability mean for businesses, and how can organizations position themselves for the long term?

In addition to implementing ESG and CSRD reporting, it is essential to take a holistic view of sustainability as part of corporate development. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as a compass for this, provided we apply the right methods to translate them into the corporate context and our daily practices. However, this can only succeed if organizations also address their own internal development—and this is precisely where the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) can support us. The framework, comprising 23 competencies across five dimensions, serves as a guide for the development of employees, processes, and work environments.

In this workshop, we’ll take a closer look at the SDGs and IDGs, offer practical tips, and demonstrate how you can make sustainability a way of thinking and working in companies and organizations on a daily basis.
