Effectively Managing Transformations
Kickstart the wave: We’ll show you how to make your projects have an impact. With impactation®, you can make a difference.
Successful projects drive innovation and progress. But when is a project considered successful? Is it enough to meet all functional and non-functional requirements, or must the project also achieve the specific outcomes expected by each stakeholder?
This means that for complex projects, in addition to defining the requirements and the deliverables, we need above all a shared understanding of the intended impact. The often unspoken ideas and perspectives of all stakeholders should be integrated into a shared vision or mental model. All project goals and the project approach can then be aligned with this.
In this seminar, you will learn how to use the impactation® method to develop this shared understanding of the impact and achieve the goals derived from it. Using a real-world example, we will work together to develop answers to the following questions: How do I approach such a project development? Who do I need to bring to the table? What do I need to take into account? How do I select the best solution from a wide range of possibilities? When is the desired impact achieved for the stakeholders?
What are complex projects, and how can we prepare for them? What tools—methods, tools, skills, or mindset—do we need to plan and manage complex projects? How can we make sound decisions about the direction of our project and assess their potential impact in advance?
Systems thinking is a concept that aims to understand complex systems as a whole by examining the interactions and relationships between the various elements of a system. It is an integrative approach that seeks to develop a deep understanding of the structure, dynamics, and behavior of systems. The impactation® method employs this approach and bridges the gap to practical application in project development.
In Module 3, you will apply the impactation® method to a specific example under guidance.
